Goal: $60,000
The Open Hands Offering is a way to reflect on and respond to God’s extraordinary grace and blessing in our lives. We believe that we are blessed to be a blessing. So, at the end of the year, we want to realign our hearts with the generous heart of God.
We are asking everyone that calls PSCC home to prayerfully consider giving a gift that is above and beyond their normal tithes and offerings. From now until the end of January, we are seeking to raise $60,000. This offering will help us launch key ministry initiatives and support mission partners in the year to come.

Camp Scholarships
Many of us have experienced how life changing Christian retreats and camps can be. As our student ministry continues to grow, we want all our students to be able to have these spiritually formative experiences. So, we are raising $8,000 to provide scholarships and subsidies for our student get-aways.

Church Planting
One of the most effective ways of reaching new people with the gospel is through planting new churches. We are seeking to raise $10,000 to help plant churches domestically and around the world. We will support:
Grace Baptist Church: We are excited to see Melvin Mercado from our congregation answer God’s call to pastor a Spanish speaking church in Sunset Park. We will come alongside him financially to support their re-planting efforts.
Pastoral Residency: Through a residency program here at PSCC we can provide training, support, and prayer for future church planters. The funds will help provide resources needed to launch this program.

Group Spaces
We praise God that this year we have over 150 people participating in groups. With the increase in group activity plus a busy calendar of other church events and community partnerships, our gathering spaces need updating. We are raising $27,000 to refresh and furnish gathering spaces within our church. This includes updating the cafe, study, and foyer.

Neighbor Care
As we have continued to work with local schools and shelters, we have learned of the growing needs of vulnerable families. We are seeking to raise $10,000 to meet the needs of our local school and neighbors. This includes:

Teacher Appreciation
Food Pantry
Community Breakfasts

Benevolence
As our church grows, so do the needs of the hurting among us. We are seeking to raise $5,000 to care for people within our church family. This includes people suffering from any number of emergencies including health problems, death of a family member, job loss, floods, fires, etc..
