Build My Life | August 2nd, 2026
This Sunday, we had the privilege of hearing from Rev. Dr. Matthew Hoskinson teach from Psalm 39 on what it looks like to bring our frustration to God.
Jesus knows what it's like to live a life that feels short, misunderstood, and marked by suffering. He entered our frustration, carried it to the cross, and rose again so that we could bring every question, every disappointment, and every honest emotion into the presence of a God who doesn't turn away.
We often assume faith means having the right answers or keeping our doubts to ourselves. But this week we were reminded that God is big enough for our questions, good enough for our pain, and faithful enough to meet us in the middle of it. Honest prayer isn't the opposite of faith—it may be one of its deepest expressions.
