This Sunday, we explored a key part of The Lord’s Prayer: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done.”

Jesus didn’t come simply offering private spirituality or self-improvement — He came announcing the Kingdom of God. A Kingdom not built by human effort, politics, or personal ambition, but one that breaks into the world through the reign of King Jesus.

We reflected on two common distortions: wanting the Kingdom without the King, and wanting the King without the Kingdom. One pursues justice, peace, and community while rejecting Christ’s authority. The other reduces faith to private, individual spirituality with little love, sacrifice, or responsibility toward others.

But Jesus calls us into something deeper: a life fully surrendered to the King and fully invested in His Kingdom.
