This Sunday, we continued our Sketches of Redemption series in Genesis by looking at chapter 2 and the gift of God’s breath of life. While Genesis 1 shows us who we are—people made in God’s image—Genesis 2 reveals why we are here: to live fully alive in relationship with our Creator. Formed from the dust yet filled with His breath, we are called to meaningful work and to embrace both God’s gifts and His boundaries. This passage reminds us that the true life we long for—abundant, joyful, and free—comes not from self-rule but from life with God at the center.
