Sketches Of Redemption | November 30th, 2025
This Sunday, we continued our Sketches of Redemption series by looking at Jacob’s late–night wrestling match in Genesis 32—a moment that meets him at the height of fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty. In his struggle with God, Jacob is given a new name, a deeper intimacy with God, and a new dependence on God. We learned that like Jacob, God does not wrestle against us but with us. He is carefully forming us into who we were created to be, becoming those who love Him with our whole heart, and depend on Him for our daily needs.
